eGraf develops web inspection system specialized in registration marks

inRegister is a web video inspection system developed by eGraf. This flexo inspection system is a smart vision equipment, specialized in registration marks detection, inspection and analysis on rotary presses. Unlike conventional web inspection systems that only show the registration marks, inRegister also shows and calculates real time error of each ink individually, which allows the user to correct registration fast and easily.

InRegister's new smart system automatically finds the registration marks and shows it in the screen, without the operator searching it. Besides, automatically detects colors of the different stations, making the job fast and easy for the operator.

When conventional equipment are being used to check printings with many inks, such as CMYK 4+ direct inks, it becomes difficult and complicated for the operator to identify which ink is out of registration; especially when there are similar colors or when registration marks have all colors overlapped. InRegister's smart vision software avoids this problem by identifying and separating automatically each ink and showing each registration individually, in a graphic and numeric way, and even activating alarms to notify the user when an ink's registration is out of pre-established values.
